What is ANGLs in Kokoda

Picture
In June 2012, nine aussie nurses are heading to Kokoda to complete the Kokoda Trek. In doing so we will be honouring the Diggers that have made, and continue to make, Australia what it is today. We will also be acknowledging the unsung heroes that are organ donors and their families, that in a time of tragedy followed their loved ones wishes and granted other Australia's life.
This webpage is dedicated to our mission in raising awareness for organ donation and transplantation and to also raise funds for Transplant Australia's Journey of Hope Campaign. You can follow our progress through our blog, updates and video links of our trip. You can also access our fundraising page and other important sites from here.

Did you know despite Australia being renowned for its successful organ transplants and research, we have one of the lowest organ donation rates! Many Aussie's are misguided into thinking that signing a form or selecting 'A' on your licence is enough to deem you an organ donor. In fact, it is your families final decision. Become an organ donor today! Go on, start the discussion with your familiy...
